Adaptive Droplets Transport Through Coupled Flow Paths
The goals of my project are the development, investigation and analysis of coupled flow patterns and droplet transport in microfluidic networks. I have developed microfluidic devices in which microchannels separated by thin PDMS membranes show strong elasto-hydrodynamic interactions and correlations. My goal is the controlled manipulation of the resulting dynamic flow patterns and the targeted transport of information and material based on elasto-hydrodynamic coupling.
